4-WEEK BEGINNER SERIES

Learn the fundamentals of Yoga, so you can start a practice with confidence, freedom, and ease.

WHAT WE'LL COVER

WEEK 1 - YOGA, BREATH & MOVEMENT

The breath is the backbone of a healthy, authentic yoga practice. In this session you'll explore ancient yogic breathing techniques and how to link with movement to create fluid, mindful yoga practices.

WEEK 2 - THE SUN SALUTATIONS

A Sun Salutation is a sequence of poses linked together by breath. They are typically heat-building and cardiovascular in nature, and there are many ways to practice them no matter what level you're in. In this session, you'll learn different variations and how to customize them in class to fit your individual needs.

WEEK 3 - STANDING POSES

Standing poses gradually open the body, tone muscle, and build balance. In addition to learning some of the most common poses, you'll learn how to safely and mindfully transition from one to the next and get the most out of your practice.

WEEK 4 - GROUND & REST

After moving and grooving with Sun Salutations and standing poses, we must find balance with seated and restorative poses that make us feel refreshed and grounded. In this session, you'll learn how to use props to make the poses more comfortable, accessible, and suitable for YOUR body.
